Holliston Police Log: Two Car Crashes, OUI Drugs

Tuesday, Spt. 11

12:42 a.m.: An officer reported that someone had left a mattress at the recycling center on Marshall Street.

12:52 a.m.: An officer secured the when it was found with its doors open and lights on.

2:07 a.m.: An officer stood by at the town line after the received multiple alarms at the . The officer then went to the school while it was searched.

11:43 a.m.: An officer set the lights at the intersection of Washington Street and Cole Court to flashing after they were observed as malfunctioning.

3:02 p.m.: A caller from Winter Street reported that their dog had gotten loose. It was caught be a resident in the town square area and held until the owner arrived.

4:01 p.m.: A person walked in to the station to report a hit and run that occurred on Washington Street. The person’s side mirror was damaged.

6:33 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Washington Street and issued the driver a summons for unlicensed operation and no inspection sticker.

8:04 p.m.: A caller from Fiske Street reported an issue with her son and asked to have him removed from her home. The male left for the night when an officer arrived.

Wednesday, Sept. 12

3:20 a.m.: An officer performed traffic enforcement on Concord Street, the highest speed observed was 41 mph.

7:15 a.m.: An officer responded to a crash that involved a school bus at No injuries were reported.

9:34 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Norfolk Street. The officer determined that it was a political activist’s vehicle.

4:04 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a motor vehicle crash with personal injury on Washington Street. One operator was taken to the hospital. Two vehicles were towed. A summons was issued to one driver for operating under the influence of drugs.

4:27 p.m.: A caller reported that a vehicle had crashed into a wall on Summer Street. Two vehicles were towed and one driver was given a summons for reckless operation.
