Hopkinton Police Log: Abandoned Beer Cans, Four Arrests
The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Friday, Sept. 14
8:27 a.m.: A caller reported that a motorcycle passed a school bus with red flashing lights on Granite Street. An officer followed up by checking a license plate that was obtained by the caller.
9:13 a.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash on Main Street. No injuries were reported.

8:48 p.m.: A 911 caller reported that her smoke alarms were going off. An officer responded with the Fire Department.
11:48 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on West Main Street and arrested Stephen Paul Murphy, 41, of 61 Downey St. Murphy was charged with speeding and drunken-driving.

 Saturday, Sept. 15
2:07 a.m.: Two callers reported gunshots or fireworks in the Amherst Road area. An officer checked the area and spoke with residents who said the noise had been fireworks.
9:33 a.m.: A caller reported a horse that ran across East Main Street with a saddle on its back but no rider. An officer made contact with the owner who was reunited with their horse.
12:41 p.m.: An officer took a report of a past hit and run on Curtis Road.
1:47 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a loose dog on Main Street. The caller was told to report incidents like this on the department’s business line.
5:07 p.m.: A resident of Cubs Path reported that he believed his vehicle had been shot with a BB gun.
6:59 p.m.: A caller from Nazneen Circle reported beer cans being left on her porch continually.
9:55 p.m.: An officer arrested Ryan T. Lachapelle, 28, of 5 Olive St., Newburyport. Lachapelle was charged with drunken-driving, speeding and marked lanes violation.

Sunday, Sept. 16
4:08 a.m.: Officers checked a home in Southborough after a report of suspicious people.
8:47 a.m.: An East Main Street resident reported equipment operation on Legacy Farms in violation of the town bylaws. An officer responded and spoke with a hydro-seeder who was done for the day.
9:52 a.m.: Officers arrested Giovanni Rodriques Dasilva, 39, of 99 Packard St., Hudson. Dasilva was charged with operating with a suspended license and operating without an inspection sticker.
10:34 a.m.: Officers responded to a crash on Wood Street near the Westborough town line.
3:47 p.m.: A resident reported that two political signs had been taken from his Pond Street property.
4:30 p.m.: An off duty detective reported a possible domestic inside a motor vehicle on Main Street. An officer responded and spoke with two people who were having a verbal argument.
5:22 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of an erratic vehicle in town. The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Wood Street and Proctor Street where Sandra J. Possemato, 51, of 42 Huckleberry Rd., was arrested. Possemato was charged with drunken-driving and a marked lanes violation.
7:49 p.m.: A motorist reported a shovel in the roadway on Elm Street.
8:38 p.m.: A resident of Thayer Heights reported a large group of youths yelling in the neighborhood. An officer responded but no youths were observed.
11:11 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of ding-dong ditch and loud music on Briarcliff Drive.
