Hopkinton Police Log: Earthquake, Aggressive German Shepherds

Tuesday, Oct. 16
12:40 p.m.: A caller reported a large tractor-trailer blocking their driveway on Cedar Street. A Hopkinton Police officer responded and helped the trucker turn around.
4:25 p.m.: An officer found a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street. The vehicle had two flat tired and was pulled off the road.

4:37 p.m.: A caller from Westfield Road reported that he had been unlawfully audio recorded.
6:59 p.m.: A caller reported a crash on West Main Street. No injuries were reported.

7:12 p.m.: Multiple callers reported a possible earthquake. The quake was confirmed; it occurred in Maine.
Wednesday, Oct. 17
9:02 a.m.: a resident of Cedar Street reported a stolen item.
9:05 a.m.: A resident of Echo Brook Lane reported two German shepherd dogs that ran towards her while she was taking a walk. The information was logged with Animal Control.
3:51 p.m.: A caller from EMC Park requested an officer after saying that one boy had hit another boy. An officer drove around the park but was not waved down by anyone there.
5:58 p.m.: A caller reported a man and a woman hitting each other behind Colella’s. An officer spoke with the people involved.
11:31 p.m.: A caller reported a barking dog on Yale Road.
