Hopkinton Police Log: Loose Pig, Posssession of Marijuana

Wednesday, Aug. 28

10:10 a.m.: An checked on a large moving truck on School Street. He spoke to the homeowners about possible options.

1:48 p.m.: an officer responded to a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.

3:22 p.m.: A detail officer reported a disabled motor vehicle in a bad spot on South Street. The vehicle was moved.

4:37 p.m.: A caller from the reported many illegally parked cars at the High School. An officer responded and spoke with the employees who were told to move their cars.

4:47 p.m.: A 911 caller reported an erratic driver who got on to route 495. The Massachusetts State Police were contacted and responded.

8:45 p.m.: A caller reported an erratic operator on Winter Street. An officer stopped to the driver who was learning how to drive with a learners permit.

9:15 p.m.: An officer spoke to a person on Hayward Street. The person was given a verbal warning for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Thursday, Aug. 29

3:26 a.m.: An officer assisted with a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.

10:40 a.m.: A caller from Ashland requested a road closure on Clinton Street due to a hazmat situation. The citation was unfounded and canceled.

1:31 p.m.: An officer checked on a disabled motor vehicle on East Main Street.

2:55 p.m.: A Pond Street resident called looking for advice on how to capture his escaped pig. A message was left for the .

8:30 p.m.: An officer checked a vehicle parked at a Grove Street business.
