Hopkinton Police Log: Maine Man Arrested on Cedar Street.

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Thursday, Oct. 18

1:14 a.m.: An officer from the Hopkinton Police Department checked a location on Rafferty Road. A vehicle was observed there with no license plates, but otherwise everything was OK.

2:28 p.m.: A Department of Public Works employee reported a Jeep on Grove Street with a loose ladder on it. An officer checked the area but was unable to find the vehicle.

2:42 p.m.: A caller reported a vehicle parked in a bad spot on Highland Street. An officer responded and spoke to the owner who said he was having mechanical issues.

4:06 p.m.: A detail officer reported a crash on East Main Street. No injuries were reported.

10:17 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Cedar Street and arrested John J. Kimball, 36, of 31 Park St., Houlton, Maine. Kimball was charged with marked lanes violation, speeding and second offense drunken-driving. The passenger in the vehicle was taken in to protective custody and the vehicle was towed.
