Hopkinton Police Log: Marijuana Violation, Multiple Break-ins
The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Friday, July 27
8:54 a.m.: An officer spoke to a road crew working at the intersection of South Street and West Main Street. The crew was working in the roadway and were advised to back off, inside the fog line.
8:54 p.m.: Hemza Hussein, 18, of 24 Nazneen Cir., was arrested at his home. Hussein was arrested on warrant charges.

10:37 p.m.: Officers gave five people verbal warnings for trespassing on Lakeshore Drive. One person was given a ticket for possession of marijuana under one ounce.
Saturday, July 28

12:37 a.m.: A caller from West Main Street returned home and found that their front door was open. Officers from the checked the residence and found no evidence of a break in and nothing missing; the officers suggested that the door might have not been closed properly.
8:02 a.m.: Officers checked a location on Wood Street for an overdue/stolen white Dodge Caravan. Framingham Police asked for the check after a rental company reported that it had been rented and stolen. Hopkinton police were unable to find the vehicle.
10:22 a.m.: An environmental protection officer requested police assistance at the boat landing on Whitehall Reservoir.
11:57 a.m.: A caller from East Main Street reported that their house appeared to have been broken in to. An officer met with the homeowner and took a report.
12:20 p.m.: A caller from Oakhurst Road reported a suspicious call from Amica Insurance. The caller reported that they received a call after hours from a representative who said they wanted to view damage on Saturday and then never showed up at the scheduled time.
12:40 p.m.: A caller from Hillcrest Drive reported a suspicious female wearing a dark hoodie and tank top staggering while walking on the street.
3:50 p.m.: A person walked in to the station to report a person lying on the ground at the playground not moving. Officers responded and reported that the person was asleep.
9:00 p.m.: Officers responded to multiple calls regarding the raised structures on Grove Street.
Sunday, July 28
1:44 a.m.: A caller reported a loud party on either Peppercorn Road or D.J. Murphy Lane. Officers checked the area but found it to be quiet.
7:23 a.m.: Officers spoke to all the parties involved in an incident on Hayden Rowe Street where one person threatened another’s wife.
2:38 p.m.: A caller reported a U-Haul that she had rented was vandalized.
4:50 p.m.: A caller from Woody Island Road reported several youths operating a motorized scooter in the roadway and not obeying traffic laws.
8:17 p.m.: A 911 caller from Spring Street reported that her ex-boyfriend was unwanted at her residence, but he would not leave. While officers responded the male left. He was stopped shortly after and advised to stay away from his ex.
9:14 p.m.: Officers responded to a complaint of a barking dog on Front Street.
Monday, July 30
11:46 a.m.: A caller reported a “pretty bad” crash on Pleasant and Main streets. Officers responded with the . Both vehicles were towed and both occupants from one of the vehicle were transported to the hospital.
3:51 p.m.: Several callers reported a crash on the off ramp for 495. One officer responded with an ambulance and the state police.
4:03 p.m.: A caller from Saddle Hill Road reported that her house had been broken in to. Two officers responded and took a report.
4:13 p.m.: A caller reported a person walking their dogs at EMC Park in violation of the regulations. An officer spoke to the dog walker.
9:12 p.m.: A 911 caller from Church Street reported a cat running in and out of the roadway. An officer responded but could not find the cat. The caller was notified of proper 911 procedures.
10:06 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on West Main street and arrested Jorge A. Cornejo, 41, of 4 Gardner St., Allston. Cornejo faces charges including second offense drunken-driving, open container violation and unlicensed operation.
