Hopkinton Police Log: Wheel Falls Off Truck, Causes Crash

Monday, Sept. 10
6:52 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on Ash Street for more than half an hour. An officer responded and checked the vehicle.
9:15 a.m.: An officer assisted the Water Department with emergency lights while they were working in the road on West Main Street.

10:52 a.m.: A caller reported a red vehicle parked in front of his house on Curtis Road with no license plates. The caller reported that the vehicle left the area. Officers responded and found the car which was an agricultural vehicle belonging to a neighboring company.
11:08 a.m.: A worker from the Water Department reported vandalism on Alprilla Farm.

1:22 p.m.: A 911 caller from Spring Street reported a loose dog in the area. An officer responded and reported that the dog had returned home.
1:47 p.m.: A caller reported that her business on Elm Street had received a prank call.
2:17 p.m.: A caller reported a crash on Hayden Rowe Street. No injuries were reported.
2:17 p.m.: An officer installed a car seat at the station.
2:50 p.m.: A caller from Main Street reported a past breaking and entering.
7:27 p.m.: An officer assisted the and the Water Department with a flooded basement on Lorigan Road.
9:25 p.m.: An officer assisted a vehicle operator on West Main Street who was out of gas.
11:25 p.m.: A caller from Kimball Road reported a barking dog from Smith Road. An officer responded and found a barking dog on Gibbon Road and noted that the dogs had been brought inside.
Tuesday Sept. 11
8:05 a.m.: A caller from Alexander Road reported a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle left before an officer arrived.
4:07 p.m.: Officers responded to a crash on Hayden Rowe Street. The wheel came off a landscape truck and hit another vehicle causing the airbag to deploy.
5:40 p.m.: A caller reported a small dog in traffic on Hayden Rowe Street. An officer was unable to find the dog.
6:58 p.m.: An officer checked the after a person reported suspicious people on the roof. The people were working on the building.
