Passerby Spots Three-Alarm Hopkinton House Fire

There were no injuries but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

HOPKINTON, MA — A home in Hopkinton caught fire on Sunday and quickly turned into a three-alarm fire.

The fire was called in just before 9:30 a.m. on Sunday at a home on Main Street. The fire was mostly contained to the attic and top-half of the home. Flames could be seen shooting from the attic window and smoke smoldered from the roof.

Firefighters had to use ladders to spray the flames from above. The exterior of the top two windows was charred by the time the fire was under control.

Hopkinton crews were joined by Nothborough, Holliston, Upton, Southborough and several other departments in the area to get the flames under control.

There were no injuries but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
