Police Log: Police Respond When Woman Hears Voice in Yard

Oct. 15

12:25 p.m.: Police spoke with a local employee regarding a reoccuring lock failure on nights and weekends. The lock is on a timer and was disrupted by a power loss caued by hurricane Irene. 

1:25 p.m.: Police cleared a back yard on Marked Tree Road after a resident reported hearing a male voice coming from their back yard.

Oct. 16

3:45 p.m.: Police notified the Highway department after receiving a report of a missing stop sign on the intersection of Lowland and Woodland streets and a missing sign for #100 Woodland street.

5:14 p.m.: Police assisted a resident back into a wheelchair after a Hollis Street resident reported hearing someone calling for help on the floor above her.
