Police Log: Resident Tests Downed Wire for Power
Wire moved from street after man determines it is live.

1:17 a.m.: Police checked on a vehicle parked on the side of Mill Street. Behind the wheel was an NStar contractor who was “watching a pole/wire issue.”
6:46 a.m.: A traffic light on Washington Street had gone dark due to power outages. Police notified the Highway Department and requested stop signs be brought to the intersection.
3:21 p.m.: A Holliston resident, who said he is an electrician, tested a downed wire outside 53 Goulding Street and determined it was carrying current. Police taped off the area and moved the wire from the street.
