Shamrock Ball to Benefit Youth Soccer

A father-daughter dance will benefit the development of a youth soccer complex.

A fundraiser that has lasted more than six years is set to continue in March, benefiting the development of a new youth soccer complex on Marshall Street. 

Holliston Youth Soccer's annual Shamrock Ball, a father-daughter dance on March 16, is expected to bring in more than $4,000 for the complex, according to the event's coordinator, Kim Marsden. 

Businesses including , , ,  and  have donated items to be raffled during the dance.

Girls in kindergarten to grade 5 are encouraged to bring their dads if available, but uncles, brothers and anyone else willing to dance for a good cause are welcome to escort the girls. 

Tickets usually sell out out prior to the event, according to Marsden. Those looking to register can head to the Holliston Youth Soccer website
