Solar Farm Decision Could Come Tomorrow Night

After months of debate, a final vote on the proposed project on Bullard Street will likely come tomorrow.

The final vote on a proposed Bullard Street solar plant, which has faced sharp resistance from Holliston residents in the past months, may be reached by Planning Board members tomorrow. 

Over the past three months, an ongoing public hearing on the proposed plant has seen concerned about the health and environmental effects of the facility proposed by Renewable Energy Massachusetts.

Tomorrow, with the timeframe on the proposal's site plan review coming to a close, Planning Board members could come to a decision on whether the Bullard Street site is suitable for a solar facility.

At its , the board was unable to hear new evidence or vote on the issue due to the absence of one member. Town Planner Karen Sherman said she expects all board members to be in attendance at the Feb. 16 meeting.
