Spraying for Mosquitoes This Week
Holliston and Hopkinton will have spraying of selected streets for mosquitoes on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Holliston and Hopkinton are among the towns in Central Massachusetts that will get spraying of insecticide this month for mosquitoes.
Spraying is tentatively scheduled for selected streets in the two towns on Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 10, according to a post on the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project website.
The specific street list should be available by 3 p.m. the day of the spraying on the mosquito project website. The streets are added by citizen request. The mosquito project does not perform town-wide spraying, according to its site. Residents can ask for exclusion from the spraying, too, by contacting the project.
Residents can also call to find out where the spraying will occur. The spray areas scheduled for a particular night will be listed on the mosquito project phone system after 3:30 p.m. that day. Call (508) 393-3055 to access that system.
