A suspected vehicle theif is in custody following a State Police search Saturday night, according to a Holliston Fire Department Facebook post.  "Suspect wanted in connection with motor vehicle theft IN CUSTODY. Being transported by Holliston PD to Ashland (where theft took place)," the post said. A request for State Police air units was issued by Holliston Police after a man allegedly stole car in Ashland and abandoned it in Holliston before fleeing to the town's woods.

Suspect in Saturday's motor vehicle theft and subject of subsequent police search is in custody.
