What We Learned This Week

Beer tasting, protest occupations and a teacher's battle with sickness are all on the list of what we learned this week.

1. : Holliston residents drank beer Thursday night to benefit families in need. All proceeds from the event benefited the town's Community Action Fund, which makes emergency donations to financially troubled residents.

2. : Our columnist John Shanahan thinks its time to join with the movement sweeping the country and occupy Holliston. He is getting an early start and shouting his slogan from the rooftops -- "Give Reece a chance!"

3. : Douglas Lack, a Hollison High School art teacher is seeking help fighting a serious illness. See why his students are considering donating their kidneys to save his life.
