When Does Daylight Saving Time End?

You've got an extra hour to sleep this weekend.

Those 7:30 a.m. commutes will get darker before they get lighter. Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend—officially at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Remember, we all “fall back” and set the clocks back one hour. Extra sleep! Many electronic devices automatically adjust when Daylight Saving Time begins or ends.

When you change your clocks in the fall and spring, local fire officials will remind you that it is also a good time to change smoke detector batteries and check to make sure device are in working order.

A fun fact: Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe Daylight Saving Time.

We begin saving that daylight again on March 10, 2013.
