• Free Solar Tech Training at Holyoke Community College to begin Jan. 7 (masslive.com) — Holyoke residents can enroll in a free 16-week solar technician training starting Jan. 7 at Holyoke Community College and Holyoke High’s Dean Tech campus, with evening, hands-on classes. Participants earn OSHA 30 credentials, learn electrical and solar skills, and receive coaching toward apprenticeships or clean energy jobs, but must be 18+, work-authorized, and hold a high school credential.
