2-Alarm Jamaica Plain Fire Injures Firefighter
A firefighter was injured in a fall while responding to a fire in a vacant building, according to the Boston Fire Department.

BOSTON, MA — A firefighter was injured in a Jamaica Plain fire on Christmas Day, according to the Boston fire department.
Units responded to 3313 Washington Street, a four-story 10-unit building. A second alarm was requested.
The firefighter was taken to the hospital after a fall. There were no other injuries, as the fire was vacant. There will be no people displaced. Estimated damages total $200,000.

A cause for the fire was not immediately identified.
