Boston Police Department (Jamaica Plain District): Search Warrant Leads To The Recovery Of Loaded Firearm, Drugs And Cash In Roxbury

At about 10:22 AM on Friday September 17, 2021, members of the Drug Control Units assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) and District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) executed a search warrant at a residence on Columbus Avenue in Roxbury. As a result, officers safely recovered a loaded .32 caliber revolver, several loose rounds of .25 caliber ammunition, 28 plastic bags of crack cocaine with an approximate total weight of 16 grams, $1600.00 in U.S. Currency along with other other evidence.

Based on his age and current health conditions, the 72-year-old target of this investigation has been summonsed to appear in Roxbury District Court on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs.
