Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Boston

A male victim was shot multiple times in the area of Intervale Street Wednesday evening. A suspect has not been identified.

Police are investigating after a man was shot to death in Boston Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to 96 Intervale Street in Roxbury, which is located just minutes from Jamaica Plain, after learning of a reported shooting around 8:40 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim, who has yet to be identified, was transported to Boston Medical Center. He was later pronounced dead.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the shooting. A suspect has not been identified.
