Date Set for Doyle’s 17th Annual Road Race
The five-mile run goes through Franklin Park and ends at Doyle's Café.
Though a springtime roadrace doesn’t look possible on a day like today, a Jamaica Plain institution has set a date for its annual run.
The 17th Annual Doyle’s Emerald Necklace Road Race is set for Sunday, April 7, according to a post on the restaurant’s blog.
The five-mile course consists of a jaunt through Franklin Park and finishes at the café, 3484 Washington St.

The fee for those who register before April 1 is $25, for those who enter after April 1 the fee is $30. Registration ends at 10:30 a.m. on race day, the blog says.

Some of the proceeds will benefit Sister Jeanne’s Kids’ and The Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums, according to the blog.
