Former Student Caught Trespassing at JP School with Gun
Police said the 17-year-old former student of English High School was caught trespassing with a gun in a backpack.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA—A former student of English High School was caught trespassing on school grounds carrying a gun, according to the Boston Police Department.
Police said that officers from District E-13 were dispatched to the school at 144 McBride St. at around 11:59 a.m. to assist school police officers who apprehended the juvenile.
The school officers reported that the juvenile, 17, was seen walking on school property and the officers “promptly realized that he was a former student trespassing on school property.”

The student was apprehended and escorted to the principal’s office “to better understanding his reasoning for being on school grounds,” police said in a news release.
In the office, a search of the juvenile’s backpack revealed the student was in possession of a firearm.

The juvenile was charged with both trespassing and unlawful possession of a firearm.
