Quite a few NSTAR customers in Jamaica Plain were without power Sunday afternoon as a result of the most recent winter storm. By about 3 p.m., <a href="http://boston.com/metrodesk/2013/02/24/without-power-jamaica-plain/CE2U2j6jm4mTOMIup18q1O/story.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">more than 400 customers were without power</a>, according to a Boston Globe report. That was a slight drop from earlier in the day, at around 5:50 a.m. when 850 customers lost power. The power outages are weather-related, caused by some sort of issue underground, an NSTAR spokesperson told the Globe. Patch will have more on the outages as information becomes available.
