JP Art for Music; O'Malley Office Hours

4. Swing Dance: Drop by Boston Swing Central’s studio on Roland Street every Friday at 8 p.m. for dancing and live jazz music from the 1920s, ‘30s and ‘40s swing era. The $10 admission includes a beginner’s lesson from 8-9 p.m., with social dancing from 9 p.m. to midnight. No partner or prior experience is required.

5. Pan-Mass Signups: Registration is now open for the Pan-Mass Challenge. Now in its 34th year, the annual cross-commonwealth bike-a-thon raises money for cancer research and treatment programs at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
