JP Artists’ Work to Be Displayed Downtown

The Jamaica Plain Artists Feature represents the largest body of work ever to be exhibited as part of the ongoing rotating Neighborhood exhibition program.

The art of several Jamaica Plain residents will be displayed at a downtown gallery beginning Wednesday.

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority will exhibit the work of 20 JP artists in its Neighborhood Showcase Feature Exhibition. The exhibit is from March 27 to June 28.

The exhibit will feature a mix of paintings, photographs and mixed media collages selected from over 100 submissions.

The exhibit kicks off with a free reception, which is open to the public Thursday, March 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The convention center is located at 415 Summer St.
