Around 9 a.m., the Mass. Bay Transit Authority upgraded its delays from moderate to "severe" for northbound trains. Typically, that means zero movement for those of you stuck on trains or waiting on platforms. Southbound trains, too, were experiencing moderate delays, the T said in an update just before 9:30 a.m.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m., MBTA sent another alert indicating continuing moderate delays heading northbound on the Orange Line. A few minutes later, MBTA downgraded the dealys to "minor."
