Patrick Brophy Appointed Boston Chief of Operations

Mayor Martin J. Walsh announced Tuesday the appointment of Patrick Brophy as Chief of Operations for the City of Boston.

An experienced construction management professional with deep knowledge of government affairs, Brophy’s work will include overseeing Property & Construction Management and Intergovernmental Relations.

He recently served as the Associate Director for Government and Community Affairs at Harvard University where he managed external interactions and communications between Harvard University, regulatory agencies and Harvard’s local constituencies in Boston.
