The man would not speak with them. He instead reached into his backpack and began throwing US paper currency in the air while claiming that there was $100,000 in his backpack. The man also said he was a big time drug dealer. Officers struggled with the man after attempting to subdue him. EMS transported him to an area hospital.Approximately half a kilogram of Xanax tablets and 65 grams of a substance believed to be heroin were found in the man's backpack. Over $34,000 was also found.The man, Angelos Karagelidis, 43, of Dedham, was charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking Xanax and resisting arrest.
