Police Seek Suspect Wanted For Shooting Near Northeastern University

A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting Tuesday afternoon. Police are asking for help in an effort to locate the suspect.

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s help in an effort to identify a man wanted for shooting which took place near Northeastern University on Tuesday.

Around 4:30 p.m., officers were called to the area of 307 Huntington Avenue for reports of a person shot. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a black male male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Further investigations led to police identifying a suspect of interest. Surveillance video in the area captured a black male running from the scene after the shooting took place.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident at this time.
