The Wake Up The Earth festival and parade is today. The events last all day long and travel through Jamaica Plain could become difficult. Here is some road closure information: Lamartine Street between Minton and Boylston streets will be closed from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Boylston Street between Lamartine and Amory streets will be closed from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Minton Street between Lamartine and Amory streets will be closed from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nearly all of Centre Street (and a small section of South Street) will be closed in rolling sections for the parade headed from east to southwest between Curtis Hall, 20 South St. and the corner of Lamartine and Centre streets from 11:05 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
