Small Business Voice: Ferris Wheels Bike Shop

The bike shop, owned by Jeffrey Ferris, is located on 66 South St.

Ferris Wheels Bike Shop is a store in Jamaica Plain that sells new and used bicycles and also specializes in bike repairs.

Jeffrey Ferris opened up the shop in 1982, several years after relocating from his native California to Boston.

“I’m proud of Ferris Wheels Bike Shop’s emphasis on meeting the needs of everyday cyclists, whether they are year-round commuters who need snow tires and rain gear, or if they ride their bicycles for fun on summertime weekends,” says Ferris on a note displayed on the shop website. “I’m proud to be a member of the Jamaica Plain community and glad to contribute to our culture of bicycle-positive urban living!”
