The Earth Wakes Up Saturday in JP
The annual parade sponsored by Spontaneous Celebrations will take over Jamaica Plain this Saturday.

It’s the time of year where the flowers bloom, the skies clear and people in costumes and on stilts take over Jamaica Plain.
Spontaneous Celebrations, Jamaica Plain’s non-profit arts initiative, sponsors the Wake Up The Earth, which this year will culminate with the merging of three parades, with starting points on Centre Street, Egleston Square and Dudley Square in Roxbury. The parades will meet at Lamartine Street and become one large parade.
Several vendors have been set up for the day’s events as well.
