What’s In Front of 225 Amory St.?

While walking from the Stony Brook T stop toward the Sam Adams Brewery you’ll see a market and residences on your left, and a strange looking property on your right.

The street-facing area in front of 255 Amory St. looks to be littered with debris, but according to a comment from a reader, the residents say the clutter is there on purpose:

Rader MMRosenthal said: “…The owner says the 'painted faces, computer monitors, broken televisions, computer monitor in the window,' etc is art. To the best of my knowledge, no one has ever been injured by the stacked televisions or other weighty pieces in his/her installations…”

Another reader said people have complained, but the stuff is contained mostly within the boundaries of the property. Do you know what the deal is with the clutter?
