What's Open/Closed on Patriots' Day in JP
See the business, offices and restaurants that are closed on this Massachusetts holiday.

Patriots' Day (otherwise known as Marathon Monday) is observed on Monday, April 15, 2013. Here's a handy list of what's open (and closed) during the holiday:
- Retail stores: Most open.
- Supermarkets, liquor stores and convenience stores: Open.
- Bars and restaurants: Open.
- Stock market: Open.
- Municipal, state offices: Closed.
- Federal offices: Open.
- Libraries and schools: Closed.
- Post office: Open.
- MBTA: All subway lines operating on regular weekday schedule with added service before and after the Marathon. Copley Station is closed. Buses and trackless trolleys will operate on a Saturday schedule. Commuter rail trains will operate on regular weekday schedule. Visit www.mbta.com for more information.
- Parking Meters: Not in effect. All other parking rules apply.
- Trash/Recycling: Delayed by one day in Jamaica Plain, except if you're on a street with twice-a-week pickup.
