• EPA, General Electric host open house for residents to learn more about PCB landfill project (berkshireeagle.com) — Lee residents just got a closer look at the controversial PCB landfill now being prepared off the Housatonic River, with construction of the disposal facility slated to start in 2026 and cleanup lasting into 2038. At an open house in Lee Middle and High School, EPA and General Electric staff walked neighbors through landfill design, safety liners, truck routes, and how to keep asking questions as work ramps up.
