The Lexington Fire Dept. and the Lexington Firefighters Aid &amp; Relief Association will be holding a memorial dedication at Fire Headquarters, 45 Bedford St., on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. The dedication is open to the public, and retired firefighters and families of firefighters who have died are also encouraged to attend. A light collation will follow the ceremony. The memorial reads, "Dedicated to all who have served with honor, dignity and devotion as members of the Lexington Fire Department." The memorial is a gift of an anonymous benefactor and the Lexington Firefighters Local 1491.
