The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for minor flooding in poor drainage areas until 7 p.m. tonight for east central Middlesex county, north central Suffolk county and southeastern Essex county.
A hazardous weather outlook also says showers and thunderstorms may result in heavy rainfall and flooding in poor-drainage areas. There is also a possibility of a few strong to severe thunderstorms.
