Help Plan Lexington's 300th Birthday Celebration
The Lexington 300th Anniversary Celebration Committee is seeking help with tercentennial celebration.

Press release from the Town of Lexington:
In the early 1700s Cambridge Farm residents petitioned state officials asking to separate from Cambridge. The first two requests were denied, but the third was finally granted. On March 13, 1713 this town officially became Lexington, Mass.
It was a team effort. Now the Lexington 300th Anniversary Celebration Committee is inviting every organization, committee and individual to an open meeting on Sept. 21st at 7 p.m. in Estabrook Hall inside Cary Memorial Building for another team effort. Share ideas for this town's milestone, one that kicks off in September 2012 and ends in September 2013. The highlight of 2013 is a core celebration from March 29 to 31.
