Lexington Care Facility Brings Joy To Residents With Wish Program
CareOne's "Make a Difference" campaign celebrates hundreds of long-term care residents during November by fulfilling their wishes.
LEXINGTON, MA — a Lexington long-term care facility is bringing some joy to residents amid the pandemic.
CareOne's "Make a Difference" campaign celebrates hundreds of long-term care residents during November by fulfilling their wishes that have been otherwise difficult to enjoy amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
CareOne at Lexington recently kicked off the event with a celebration of residents living at the center. CareOne’s “Make a Difference” program is based on the work of “Three Wishes for Ruby’s Residents,” a charity created by 12-year-old Ruby Chitsey. The non-profit organization, which seeks to make a difference for nursing home residents by providing small items that make a difference in the lives of elders that they may otherwise go without, selected CareOne as its partner for the campaign.
