Lexington To Host Anti-Hate Presentation
The presentation will focus on lessons learned after the killings of Ahmaud Arbery and Vincent Chin.
LEXINGTON, MA — Lexington will host an anti-hate and anti-racism presentation on Nov. 15.
The presentation, titled "Interrupting Racist Hatred Can Save Someone’s Life" is part of the town's No Hate November series. The presentation will focus on lessons learned after the killings of Ahmaud Arbery and Vincent Chin.
Ahmaud Arbery was a 25-year-old Black man who was chases by armed white residents while jogging in a neighborhood in Brunswick, Georgia in February. Arbery was shot and killed — he was unarmed.

Vincent Chin was a Chinese-American man who was beaten to death in Detroit in 1982 by two men outside a strip club who thought he was Japanese.
The presentation is sponsored by the Lexington Human Rights Committee, Association of Black Citizens of Lexington, Chinese American Association of Lexington and the Chinese Americans of Lexington.
