Lexington's GenesisHR Battlegreen Run Raised Over $100k For Charitable Partners Through Their November 7th Race
The Battlegreen Run Foundation Inc (https://www.battlegreenrunfoundation.org/) is excited to announce the results from their 25th anniversary running of the GenesisHR Battlegreen Run which took place on Sunday, November 7, 2021 in Lexington, MA. With over 1,000 virtual and in-person runners, they raised over $100,000, of which all proceeds are distributed to their 13 Non Profit Partners and legacy partners.
With sunny, crisp fall weather, the race began with musket fire courtesy of the Lexington Minuteman, along with Todd Angilly, the official Anthem Singer of the Boston Bruins, all hosted by Boston’s Sports station 98.5. Between the Kids Fun Run and 10K, 5K race and 5K walk, the event brought together many different community members for a day of fun festivities.
“We’re thrilled to have raised over $100K this year, outdoing last year’s amount of $75K! It was so wonderful to have the community come together for an outdoor in-person event to benefit all of these amazing organizations,” says Bob Burbidge Battlegreen Run Foundation Board Member. “We’re so proud that the race has continued grow over the years and support these local organizations!”
