Lexington’s GenesisHR Solutions Battlegreen Run Raised Over $150,000 for Charitable Partners
The 2025 race marked a record-breaking year for both registrations and donations.
The Battlegreen Run Foundation, Inc. (https://www.battlegreenrunfoundation.org/) is proud to share the outstanding results from the 2025 GenesisHR Solutions Battlegreen Run, held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Lexington, MA. This milestone 30th annual event drew more than 1,250 participants, both virtual and in-person, and raised over $150,000, all of which will be distributed to the Foundation’s non-profit and legacy partners. The 2025 race marked a record-breaking year for both registrations and donations, underscoring the community’s unwavering commitment to giving back.
The family-friendly day was filled with energy and hometown pride, featuring musket fire by the Lexington Minutemen and a stirring performance of the National Anthem by Todd Angilly, the official anthem singer of the Boston Bruins. New for 2025, the race hosted music performed by students from race participant and local non-profit, Rawkstars, which provided rock music at the starting line to give runners a fun send off. Additionally, new this year, The William Diamond Junior Fife and Drum Corps brought a contingent of 17 performers, who played at the start of the race through to the 1-mile mark, where they continued to play in support of all runners and walkers.
Participants of all ages took part in the Kids Fun Run, 10K and 5K races, 5K walk, and a 1.2-mile walk designed for participants with special needs. The Battlegreen Run once again brought together the Lexington community and beyond for a memorable celebration of fitness, inclusion, and philanthropy.

“The 2025 Battlegreen Run once again showcased the incredible community spirit that defines this event,” says Bob Burbidge, Battlegreen Run Foundation Board Member. “Each year, we’re inspired by runners and walkers of all ages who come together to challenge themselves, support one another, and give back in such a meaningful way. Every mile covered and every dollar raised directly supports our non-profit partners, whose work continues to make a lasting impact. We’re deeply grateful to all our participants, volunteers, and supporters for making the 2025 event another remarkable success.”
10K Race winner, Nicholas Hall finished with a time of 34:10 with Dan McCarthy and Tu Xu coming in shortly behind him. Nora Blodgett won for females with a time of 41:01 with Chelsea Doran and Laura Carey taking second and third respectively. 5K Race Winner, Adam Pacheck crossed the finish line with a time of 15:55 with Jovan Sematimba and Gabe Model following close behind. For the Women’s Division 5K Race, Allyson Casey took the lead at 19:04 with Natalie Bielat and Martine Lucia Cassano coming in 2nd and 3rd place.

Since founding in 1996, the GenesisHR Solutions Battlegreen Run has been established as one of the most popular road race events in New England, with its unique setup to support local charities. Non Profit Partners include: Rawkstars, Soccer Unity, The Little Smiles, Youth Counseling Connection, Ependymoma Research Foundation, Esperanza – Hope for the Children, Inc., Lexington High School Hockey and Lacrosse teams, The Joslin Diabetes Center, Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston, Lexington Special Education PTA, Minuteman Parents Association, New England Innocence Project, Special Needs Arts Programs (SNAP),Supportive Living Inc., Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, The William Diamond Middle School PTA and many others.

About Battlegreen Run Foundation
The Battlegreen Run Foundation is an official 501(c)3 charity that organizes an annual road race held in Lexington, MA annually on the first Sunday in November to provide a fundraising platform for a number of worthy local charities. Overall proceeds from the race are all shared with participating charities and related fundraising events are donated to organizations that benefit Lexington and its surrounding communities.
