• Lexington Fire Department delivers surplus supplies to Ukraine (lexobserver.org) — Lexington’s Fire Department is quietly turning surplus medical supplies into lifesaving aid for Ukrainian civilians and soldiers, working closely with Carlisle nurse Jane Elliot and the Bright Jar organization. Their regular donations, often filling multiple boxes from Lexington alone, are keeping hospitals stocked and spirits lifted even as larger government aid remains uncertain.
