The first day of school in Lexington is August 29. The Lexington School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

  • 8/30: All Kindergarten students – 1⁄2 day, All Students Grades 1 – 12 – full day
  • 8/31: All Students Grades K – 5 – 1⁄2 day, All Students Grades 6 – 12 – full day

September


  • 9/1: Schools Closed, Offices Open
  • 9/4: Holiday (Labor Day) — No school
  • 9/14: Prof. Learning.; Students – 1⁄2 day
