Lexington's Genesis Battlegreen Run To Be Held Sunday, November 3rd

100% of Race Proceeds are Given to Charity Partners

The Battlegreen Run Foundation Inc (https://www.battlegreenrunfoundation.org/) is excited to announce the 29th running of the GenesisHR Battlegreen Run taking place on Sunday, November 3, 2024 in Lexington, MA. Devoted to assisting non-profits in raising funds needed to sustain their missions, the Battlegreen Run Foundation’s annual race has become a local tradition for families and organizations to come together and support multiple charity partners.

The annual Kids Fun Run, 5K run or walk, and 10K road race brings together non-profits, where each team or individual can raise money for their own charity. New for 2024, they are hosting a shorter 1.25 mile walk option as well. Hosted by Boston’s Sports station 98.5, Todd Angilly, the official Anthem Singer of the Boston Bruins, will send the runners along their way with a stirring rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, accompanied by musket fire, courtesy of the Lexington Minute Men. Racers can choose between 10K or 5K race, 5K Walk, 1.25m Walk, and Kids Fun Run and enjoy a day filled with before and after festivities including snacks and food, giveaways, kids and family activities. For those that cannot make it to Lexington on race day, Virtual options are available.

“Every year we strive to make the race better than ever and expand our mission to support local charities. Heading into 2024, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve helped to raise over $1 Million for our non-profit partners,” says Bob Burbidge Battlegreen Run Foundation Board Member. “We can’t wait to welcome back repeat partners and meet new partners for 2024 to help them raise the funds to make their impact on the world. We are also very thankful for the many sponsors who are continuing to invest in our community.”
