• What's going on with the Cary Library renovation? (lexobserver.org) — Cary Library’s long-awaited lower-level renovation in Lexington is now slated to reopen in mid-February 2026, after sprinkler and HVAC surprises pushed the project past its original June 2025 target. Residents can look forward to a teaching kitchen, makerspace, improved accessibility features, and upgraded tech for hybrid events, bringing many children’s and community programs back under the library’s roof.
