Police Log: Suspicious People, Reported Hit-and-Runs

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Aug. 9

8:35 a.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported on East Street after a car hit a curb and popped two tires.

10:45 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Bedford Street.

1:59 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a suspicious man looking into a window of a school on Marrett Road.

7:17 p.m. – Police responded to a reported customer dispute on Mass Ave.

7:55 p.m. – A past hit-and-run accident was reported on Waltham Street.

Saturday, Aug. 10

3:45 a.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Shirley Street.

9:10 a.m. – Police responded to a reported hit-and-run accident in the area of Woburn Street.

4:49 p.m. – Suspicious persons were reported on Lowell Street.

6:49 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Grapevine Avenue.

10:41 p.m. – A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Concord Avenue.

Sunday, Aug. 11  

1:16 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Worthen Road.

11:09 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Lowell Street, Konstantinos Z. Kollias, 27, of 10 Liana St., Woburn, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle after his license was suspended and operating a motor vehicle with no license in his possession.
