Public Services Building Tour Planned for Kids
Event open for children in grades one and up.
Children in grades one and up can take a tour with their families of the Samuel Hadley Public Services Building later this month through an event sponsored by Cary Memorial Library.
The building is Lexington's first Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design (LEED) silver-certified public building, and a tour will be conducted Tuesday, Aug. 24 at 4 p.m.
The tour will last about 45 minutes, and participants are asked to meet at the main entrance at 3:50 p.m. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited.

Those interested may sign up starting Monday, Aug. 16, starting at 7 p.m. at Cary Memorial Library, or on the library's website. Telephone reservations will be taken starting at 7:30 p.m.
