Singer/Songwriter Catie Curtis to perform at Harmony On the Green

LEXINGTON–Singer/songwriter Catie Curtis will appear in Lexington on Saturday, May 6th at 7:30 p.m. at the Harmony on the Green Coffeehouse Concerts at Hancock Church. The show marks the final show of the series successful first season.
For over 25 years, Catie toured full-time in the US and Europe, releasing 14 recordings and selling over 250,000 CDs (not to mention streaming and downloads). She has recorded for major (EMI Guardian) and independent (Rykodisc, Vanguard and Compass) labels, collaborating with some of the finest musicians and producers in the country. Before the pandemic, she continued to play shows for a legion of fans who shared stories with her at the merch table night after night. Her songs have been featured in films and tv shows, and she performed several times at the White House during the Obama administration. In 2017, Catie left the road and began training to become a therapist. She is now in private practice as an LMFT with an office in Newton, MA
The concert will take place in Clark Hall at Hancock Church, 1912 Massachusetts Ave in Lexington. Tickets are $20 per person, or $50 max per family. They can be purchased in advance at hancockchurch.org/coffeehouse. The hall is handicap accessible and there is free parking. Refreshments will be served. The Harmony on the Green coffeehouse concerts launched in fall 2022 and has featured a diverse array of music from such artists as Alastair Moock, Reggie Harris, Matt and Shannon Heaton, and the Green Sisters. The series is supported in part by the Lexington Cultural Council. A new season is currently being planned for fall 2023.
