Town Announced Weekend Detours, Paving Plans

Here's a heads up for what the town will be working on over the weekend.

On Friday, June 24th, crews will be paving sidewalks on Turning Mill Rd from Gould St to the Robinson Rd. The road will be open but there may be a partial closure allowing one lane through during periods of the work.

This year's resurfacing program utilizes a few different methods to resurface. Crews from D&R will be milling and paving, as well as reclaiming roads to be repaved. The town also has a contract out to bid for specialized resurfacing. These surface techniques are said to help prolong the life of the current pavement.

Concord Ave., including part of Waltham St. at the intersection with Concord Ave., will be paved overnight on Sunday, June 26 night into Monday and the work will be finished on Tuesday during the day.
